Our family verdict: We had an absolute ball. The food was great, the atmosphere was invigorating and Callum had discovered a new taste sensation. I had the delicious Baklava, oh so yum, what a sweat treat. I will be back for more amazing dishes. I have to try the entire menu, so, so good. Thank you everyone for an absolutely unforgettable experience.

About Little Greek Taverna
The Little Greek Taverna is a family run Dine In and Takeaway Restaurant which commenced trade in the multicultural hub of Brisbane, West End, in December of 2009.
The shop is wonderfully positioned at a busy, exciting and vibrant intersection in West End with high volumes of pedestrian and motor traffic and complete 180 degree exposure.
In a short period of time the Little Greek Taverna has grown to be loved by those who regularly visit, and many who visit for the first time leave with a promise to continue visiting, all of which leads the Little Greek Taverna in its drive to become a Brisbane institution dishing up quality authentic Greek Cuisine.

Many wonder where the colors and symbols that represent the Little Greek Taverna come from. It comes from the Parmaklis families origins, in the Northern Greek region of Makedonia and the City of Florina. Famous for its history known worldwide through the feats of Alexander the Great, the modern day Greek State Of Makedonia produces much of the ingredients which make up many of Greece’s famous dishes. There are also many unique dishes which have come directly from this region that you will only find at the Little Greek.
It’s a region of Greece which many don’t associate the beautiful country with.
When one thinks of Greece, one thinks of islands, white houses and blue water. In the North we are about green tree capped mountains, fertile agricultural plains, snow in the winter time and spicy greek cuisine to keep warm with!
